Bidayyat would like to thank all the 34 young creative and dynamic filmmakers who applied their film projects to the Bidayyat documentary grant 2015.

In total, an amount of 70,000$ US Dollar was granted to 8 projects in production and post-production.

Selection committe

The independent jury - composed of three professionals in documentary filmmaking - Syrian director of photography Joude Gorani, Syrian filmmaker Hisham Alzouki and Lebanese filmmaker Maher Abi Samra - had a difficult choice to make, given the creative and unique approach each single of the 34 submitted film projects.

At the end, they selected the following projects to be granted Bidayyat's documentary grant 2015:
