Every year, Bidayyat produces a group of short, experimental documentary films in addition to feature-length documentaries, selecting the projects that best fit its artistic vision as part of its contribution to the creation of a cinematic and visual arts culture that is independent, socially influential, and open to the experiences of other societies.

Bidayyat hopes that this standing invitation will give all young directors and artists from Syria and Lebanon including Palestinians residing in both countries, the opportunity to make their films about the multi-faceted reality of this region.
