The short film “Douma Underground” directed by Tim Alsiofi, edited by Quitaiba Barhamji and produced by Bidayyat received a Special Mention for the Best Documentary Award at the 24^th edition of REGARD Festival - International short film festival in Saguenay, Canada.

From the jury of the official competition: “A powerful film that shows us alternative images of a war zone. We have seen a lot of images through media coverage, but here we are part of the community, witnessing what war has done to us in the internet age with access to all kinds of information. In the style of direct cinema, this film brings us as close as possible to their situation. It's scary, exhausting, emotional without being judgmental”.
