This week, Talal Khoury won his second award for best cinematographer of the film “Taste of Cement” (by Ziad Kalthoum) at the 28^th filmkunstfest in Germany.

The first cinematographer prize was awarded in Global Cinema Film Festival of Boston early this year. “Taste of Cement” won more than 22 awards over the world.

Talal Khoury started his career in cinematography since 2006. He worked in many films such as “Sector Zero” by Nadim Michlawi, that won the first prize in Dubai International Film Festival where Talal got a mention from the jury.

Talal is also a filmmaker who won the Jury prize at DIFF for his short film “August 9”. He is also the filmmaker of the short experimental film “Mediterranean” produced by Bidayyat.
