The world's largest documentary film festival, The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) selected the two feature documentaries “On the Edge of Life” and “Taste of Cement”, both produced by Bidayyat in two programs outside the official competition. The festival runs from 15 to 26^th of November.

“On the Edge of Life”, directed by Yasser Kassab, will take place in IDFA’s Paradocs Program. “The films in this program section showcase what is going on beyond the frame of traditional documentary filmmaking, on the borders between film and art, truth and fiction, and narrative and design.”

“Taste of Cement” by Ziad Kalthoum was selected to take place in two programs: “Best of Fest” and “Camera in Focus”.

It was chosen to participate in “Best of Fest” because it is one of the films that have made an impact on the international festival circuit this year. While in “Camera in Focus” program, Talal Khoury, the Director of Photography of “Taste Of Cement”, will discuss with other up-and-coming camera talents as well as Established DoP's their unique, inspirational ways of capturing stories through images.
