Visions du Réel is an important “must-see” event for documentary films that usually takes place in April/May of each year. The festival opens its doors to a variety of interpretations of documentary films, or cinema du réel, with experimental films, essays, family films, major reports, historical inquiries, and epic or fragmentary stories.
