In his first experimental film " Being good so far'' , the Director Orwa Moqdad, tries to record by his lens what is being usually absent and ignored in the media, surpassing the images of destruction and violence, to scenes of humane life of the population in the neighborhood of Al-Sha'ar in Aleppo city, that neighborhood where it's raining shells every day since it was liberated from the Syrian regime forces.
The filmmaker said: "all this quantity of blood that bleeding every day did not prevent people to continue their lives, there is a deep desire in life surrounded by death.
It's the liberated areas, life and revolution, continues although the darkness of the scene and its complexity.''
The image in " being good so far'' is the main character and story, where the camera moves between the faces of the hawkers who sleep on the sidewalks in the neighborhood of Al-Sha'ar, carrying their chats and creating smiles to be the thread which is separate you from scenes desolation and implications the bombing,
Filmmaker said: "simple people, salesmen and the Kids, they expelled the ghost of death, their intimate smile and ironic jokes was as charm to protect their tiny dreams of free and dignified life as they desire,"
"I tried to show the world, what has been hiding and ignored due to the accumulation of violence, destruction and killings, That is withstand against death. That's the human Itself naked from all the usual forms and depleted headlines of media which is been overloaded with '' added Orwa .
"Being good so far" is a simple spotlight on what has been forgotten, for "regular" life amid the destruction, the human ability of continuation, that generates life and last and resist.
