Taste of Cement, a film by Ziad Kalthoum, produced by Bidayyat and BASIS BERLIN Filmproduktion, is in the official selection for the EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS 2017. It got selected with 14 other European Films, and the awards ceremony will take place on 9 December in Berlin.

Also, Taste of Cement will be screened- with other 11 films- within the competition program of feature length documentary at the Mediterranean Film Festival taking place from August 23 to 26 in Široki Brijeg.

Moreover, Ziad Kalthoum had been nominated for best international emerging filmmaker award- awarded by the Open City Jury- for his film "Taste of Cement".
