The short film "A dream of powerful monsters" by Lina AlAbed - a Bidayyat 2013 short film production - was awarded among 3 other shorts at the Arab Short Film Festival Beirut 2014. 

Moreover, three other short film productions were shown at the Medina Theater from May 23 to May 26, 2014.
